Squad Arcade
Unreal Engine 5 / C++
Squad Arcade is a roguelike deckbuilder built in Unreal Engine 5, blending strategic card combat with retro-futuristic arcade aesthetics. Players form squads of mythological and historical heroes to face legendary monsters, earning rewards and upgrades with each procedurally unique run.

In this project I worked as a UI and Gameplay programmer, some of my tasks included:

Implemented the game’s HUD, Menus, and Overlays, handling the full UI pipeline from Photoshop asset export to layout creation and custom material development in Unreal Engine.

Developed interactive UI behavior and state systems (Hovered, Unhovered, Selected, etc.) using C++ and Blueprints, and integrated Sequencer-based animations to enhance user feedback and polish.

Engineered a card combat animation system and developed multiple card abilities to deliver smooth and engaging gameplay
